Kahara and Shawn’s Alexandria Wedding

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Kahara for a number of years now and I was very honored to be a part of Kahara and Shawn’s big day. I could tell they were a little bit nervous but they were both very excited to make it official. Shawn, Kahara, and Riley were all huge troopers braving the blistering cold for a few photos before the intimate ceremony. They will be celebrating their marriage with friends and family in a few weeks and I have no doubt it will be a ton of fun.

I hope you enjoy the photos below. If you do, be sure to like my Facebook page so you can see my latest work!

Soccorso’s Six Month Photo Session – Family Portrait Photographer

It has truly been an honor to follow my fellow Dickinson alums and dear friends’ journey across this past year from their maternity session to Soccorso’s newborn lifestyle session. Over the holidays, I stopped by Rob and Danielle’s house to capture some more images to add to their collection. It is amazing how quickly Soccorso is growing and I can’t wait to continue to photograph this wonderful and loving family.

I hope you enjoy these photos! If you do, be sure to comment below or like my Facebook page.:)

Mary and David’s Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle Wedding – Washington DC Photographer

Many of you will recognize Mary and David from their engagement photo session earlier this year. However, I have a feeling these photos will be a bit more special, especially in the hearts of those who attended Mary and David’s wedding.

On a brisk day in November, the ceremony took place at the breathtaking Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle near Dupont in Washington, DC and the reception took place at St. Francis Hall at the Franciscan Monastery.

The day went off without a hitch and I’m sure that was in large part to all of the time and effort spent planning the many details as well as the behind the scenes magic that Charlotte of Charlotte Jarrett Events, who coordinated the day. Also, I’d like to extend a special thank you to my second shooter, Elliott, for his help ensuring we captured every moment big and small.

As always, it was such an honor to photograph such a special day. However, I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. I hope you enjoy them! If you do, please leave a comment below or like my Facebook page to see my latest work.

Kara and Jesse – Ski Roundtop Engagement Photos

“Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.”  ― Robert A. Heinlein

Fate chose to bring together Kara and Jesse on the slopes of Ski Roundtop in Central Pennsylvania. Not only is it where this couple met but it is also the venue for their 2014 wedding. Therefore, it seemed an obvious choice of where we should begin our engagement photo shoot. Even though it looks much different than when the mountain is covered with fresh powder, the fall colors created a beautiful backdrop.

After enjoying a beer at Ski Roundtop as a reward for a successful morning, we headed to City Island and downtown Harrisburg for a few different backdrops. Below are some of my favorite images from our shoot. I had such a great time working with Kara and Jesse and I cannot wait until their fall wedding next year!

I’d also like to give a shout out to Tyler for being my voice activated light stand and for his help.

Bigham Family – Gettysburg Family Portrait Photographer

“Like branches on a tree, we may grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. Each of our lives will always be a special part of one another.”

On a beautiful day in November, we gathered three generations of Bighams together for family portraits. Even though it was a little bit chilly, everyone was a great sport. The guys even said that they had more fun than they expected which is always one of my favorite compliments.

Without further adieu, check out the photos below. If you like them, be sure to like the page on Facebook for future updates.
